Ground beef sold in Wisconsin recalled due to plastic concerns

WASHINGTON -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food and Safety Inspection service announced Monday, April 8, that approximately 43,292 pounds of JBS Plainwell, Inc. ground beef products have been recalled because it may contain pieces of hard plastic.

Product numbers “EST. 562M” inside the USDA mark of inspection are subject to recall. The ground beef was produced on March 20.
