Man taken into custody following standoff in Fond du Lac, 3 children safe

FOND DU LAC — A 27-year-old man was taken into custody Tuesday morning, June 4 after he armed himself with a knife and barricaded himself inside an apartment in Fond du Lac. Three children were also inside the residence.

Officers were called to a residence on E. Johnson Street around 4:15 a.m. after receiving a call about a man who was  “acting unusual.” The caller indicated the man was running around naked in the street.
