Police: 61-year-old man shot, killed near 90th and Burdick, relative arrested

MILWAUKEE — A 61-year-old man was shot and killed near 90th and Burdick Monday afternoon, June 24.

It happened around 3:30 p.m.

Police said a preliminary investigation revealed a physical altercation occurred between two men who were relatives. One of them, a 21-year-old man, was armed with a firearm, and during the physical altercation, the firearm was discharged, striking the victim.

The 21-year-old man was arrested, and this incident was being investigated as a homicide.
