Man injured following shooting near 39th and Hopkins

MILWAUKEE -- A 36-year-old man was shot near 39th and Hopkins Sunday morning, June 30.

According to police, the man was shot in the upper right thigh and was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

The incident is still under investigation, and there are no suspects in custody at this time.
