1 suffers life-threatening injuries in crash near 24th and Highland in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that happened early Thursday morning, July 4 near 24th Place and Highland Avenue. One person sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash.

According to police, around 3:15 a.m. a vehicle was traveling west on Highland Boulevard when it struck another vehicle —  which was travelling south on N. 24th Street.

The driver of the vehicle that was struck sustained life -threatening injuries and is currently being treated at a local hospital.

The driver of the striking vehicle remained on the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

No one is in custody related to this incident and this remains and ongoing investigation.
