Police: Man shot and killed near 13th and Atkinson after confrontation

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner was called out to 13th and Atkinson Sunday morning, Aug. 4 following a fatal shooting.

Police said it happened around 10:15 a.m.

The victim was a man, 56, who suffered a fatal gunshot wound after a confrontation with multiple people.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting were under investigation.
