'Somebody got shot:' Man found dead at bottom of bridge to KK River near 13th and Harrison



MILWAUKEE -- A man, 22, died at the scene of a shooting near 13th and Harrison Sunday night, Aug. 25. Police said after the shooting, the man's vehicle rolled down a hill near 13th and Harrison.

The man, identified as Terren Fezer, was found over the bridge at the bottom of the hill -- traveling more than a block.

"Somebody got shot," said Jamie Spinn, neighbor. "There were cops everywhere."

Spinn saw police converge near 13th and Harrison around 11 p.m. Sunday.

"Nervous, horrible, scared," said Spinn.

She saw a vehicle at the bottom of the bridge leading to the Kinnickinnic River.



"The car was white, four-door," said Spinn. "It was like, a sedan. I did see the body, but it was already covered up."

Police said the man was shot, and then traveled to the location where he was found.

"It's getting worse and worse around here," said Spinn.



A woman was in the passenger seat at the time, but was not injured. Police taped off a large portion of a nearby park to investigate early Monday.

Police were seeking the shooter in this case, and investigating the circumstances leading to this fatal shooting.

"Prayers are with them," said Spinn. "I hope they catch the guy, but as of right now, they haven't caught him."
