Baritone Mike Bonn was diagnosed with ALS a year ago and has been given a short life expectancy. Bonn continues to fight the disease. However, he is now unable to get out of his wheelchair. Wednesday's performance, with family and friends in the stands, was done in part to raise awareness about ALS.
