Areal flood warning in effect for parts of southeast Wisconsin

SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN -- The National Weather Service has issued an areal flood warning for Waukesha, Milwaukee, Racine, Kenosha and Walworth Counties. This replaces the flash flood warning and watch. They are set to end between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles, according to the National Weather Service.
