Car crashes into home on Milwaukee’s south side, driver seriously injured

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are investigating a car crash that happened around 10:40 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 20 near Cesar E. Chavez Drive and Lapham Boulevard on the city’s south side.

Police say the driver — a 17-year-old boy — was speeding and crashed into an area home. The driver, who was the sole occupant of the car, sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital.
