MPD: 16-year-old shot, injured after argument about shoes; 14-year-old arrested

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police said a 16-year-old boy was shot multiple times on the city's north side Saturday afternoon, Jan. 11.

Police said an argument broke out about shoes between two teenage boys near 61st Street and Carmen Avenue at around 4 p.m. The victim was shot several times by a 14-year-old, police said.

The victim was being treated for injuries that weren't life-threatening, and police said an arrest was made.
