Police: 2 dead, 1 injured following 3 separate shootings in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE -- Two people are dead and another injured following three separate shootings in Milwaukee Monday night, Jan. 20.

The first shooting happened around 8 p.m. near 8th and Essex Lane. The victim, a 40-year-old Milwaukee man suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The second shooting happened near 24th Place and Vienna Street just after 9:15 p.m.

Police said the victim was a 37-year-old  man.

An investigation was underway to determine what led up to this. It wasn't immediately clear whether any arrests had been made.

At approximately 9:30 p.m., an 18-year old Milwaukee man was dropped off at St. Joseph’s Hospital with a gunshot wound and died as a result of his injuries.

No arrests have been made.
