MPD officer arrested for OWI, endangering safety

MILWAUKEE — A Milwaukee police officer was arrested for operating while intoxicated and endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon, Sunday, Jan. 26, the Milwaukee Police Department says.

The officer, 28, had one year of experience and has since resigned.

Authorities did not release any additional details about the officer, the arrest or what led up to it.
