Police release name of victim fatally shot in Kenosha

KENOSHA -- Police have identified the victim in a fatal shooting that occurred around 2 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 29.

Officers were in the area of 30th Avenue and Roosevelt Road when they reported hearing gunshots and immediately responded to the scene.

On arrival, police found Malik Boyd, 23, of Gurnee, Illinois who had been shot. Boyd was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police are still looking for a suspect in this case.
