Wells Fargo raises minimum wage for 20,000 employees to $20/hour max

SAN FRANCISCO — Wells Fargo is raising the minimum wage for 20,000 of its employees.

The new wage will go up to $15 to $20 per hour by the end of 2020.

The bank also added two new bank accounts — a checkless account with no overdraft fees, and one that includes checks and limits overdraft fees to one per month.

Those will be available in early 2021.
