DHS: 111 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Wisconsin, 1.5K+ negative



MADISON -- Officials with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services on Wednesday, March 18 reported 106 positive cases of coronavirus in the state. The state total did not include one positive case reported in Ozaukee County Wednesday, and one positive case reported in Walworth County, and 50 new positive cases reported by Milwaukee County officials on Wednesday -- for a total of 111.

DHS officials noted Wednesday, out of 1,683 people tested, 1,577 people tested negative for the virus.

The latest information included a seven-case rise in Milwaukee County, bringing the county's total to 47. Milwaukee, Dane, and Kenosha Counties were identified as counties with community spread of the virus.
