Double shooting near 39th & St. Paul leaves 1 dead, 1 injured

MILWAUKEE -- Police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened near North 39th Street and West St. Paul Avenue around 7:40 a.m. Saturday, March 28.

A 26-year-old man died at the scene and a 19-year-old woman sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital in stable condition, according to police.

Police continue to seek an unknown suspect and are not releasing any more information at this time.
