1,200+ confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Wisconsin, 16K+ test negative



MILWAUKEE — The total positive cases of coronavirus in Wisconsin rose to 1,221 on Monday, March 30, Wisconsin Department of Health Services officials said. There have been a total of 23 deaths -- and more than 16,000 negative tests.

Milwaukee County’s coronavirus dashboard showed 663 confirmed cases in the county Monday afternoon, March 30 -- as well as 10 deaths. The state had Milwaukee County listed at 617 positive cases.

Meanwhile, officials with the Washington Ozaukee Public Health Department reported 37 positive cases in Washington County, and 42 in Ozaukee County as of Monday morning. The state listed the counties as having 34 and 36 positive cases, respectively.

Fond du Lac County health officials reported Monday a total case count to 22, four currently active and 16 recovered. The state had Fond du Lac listed as having 21 positive cases.

Health officials in four other counties also increased their positive case totals Monday as follows:


    The state data is as of 9 p.m. the previous night.

    With the extra cases, the statewide total stands at at least 1,299.
