MFD: Elderly woman died in fire near 21st and Edgerton

MILWAUKEE -- An elderly woman died in a fire Sunday morning, April 12 near 21st Street and Edgerton Avenue.

It happened around 4 a.m.

Officials with the Milwaukee Fire Department said two adults and four children were taken to the hospital from the scene.

The cause of the fire is believed to be electrical in nature.
