Police: 1 dead after shooting near 39th and Villard in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened early Friday morning, April 17 near 39th and Villard.

Police say a 53-year-old Milwaukee man sustained a life-threatening injury and died as a result.

This is an active investigation and MPD is seeking an unknown suspect.
