Police: 3 seriously injured following crash involving Milwaukee DPW vehicle
MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a crash that happened early Tuesday morning, April 21 near Sherman and Capitol. It happened around 6 a.m. and involved a Milwaukee DPW vehicle.
Police say a vehicle occupied by three individuals struck the rear of a Milwaukee DPW vehicle that was stopped at a red light. The driver of the DPW vehicle sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
All three occupants of the striking vehicle sustained life-threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital in serious condition.
The driver of the striking vehicle had a suspended driver’s license.
Criminal charges will be presented to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the upcoming days.
