7,747 positive cases of COVID-19 in Wisconsin, 334 deaths; 3K+ recovered

MILWAUKEE — The number of people in the state testing positive for COVID-19 grew to 7,747 on Saturday, May 2. There have been 334 deaths. More than 75,000 people have tested negative.

The Milwaukee County coronavirus dashboard showed 3,223 cases and 183 deaths related to the coronavirus in the county as of Saturday afternoon. The DHS, however, reported 3,247 cases and 191 deaths in the county.

As of Thursday, the DHS website noted there were 3,698 cases that were listed as recovered — or about 48% of the overall positive cases.
