House fire near 7th and Burnham causes 'extensive damage'

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee fire officials responded to a call of an attic fire at a home near S. 7th Street and W. Burnham Street around 11 p.m. on Saturday, May 9.

The home suffered "extensive damage," according to Milwaukee Fire Chief Blackwood

Officials said the home was occupied, but no injuries were reported.

The cause is under investigation.
