    SHEBOYGAN– Jacob Ogbacevic is a junior at Sheboygan Lutheran High School. He plays on the varsity basketball team. Jacob says he has been playing basketball since kindergarten or first grade. He says the sport is a passion of his dad’s and has become one for him also. Jacob transferred to Sheboygan Lutheran after his freshman season. He recently went 19 for 19 from the free throw line in a game, breaking a school record. He says he looks up to […]

    WEST BEND — Dylan Polster is a senior at West Bend East High School. Dylan plays basketball for the Suns. He says he has played basketball since he can remember.   • Senior Carter Schmidt helps Germantown win a State title in Volleyball

    GERMANTOWN — Carter Schmidt is a senior at Germantown High School. He was part of the varsity volleyball team that won the State title. It was the Warhawks first boy’s volleyball championship. Carter never picked up a volleyball until he went out for the sport as a freshman. He is a 4-sport athlete at Germantown, also playing basketball, golf and baseball.   • Local teen wins rare Triple Crown in horse riding competition

    HARTLAND– Haley Berget is a senior in high school. She is home schooled and takes classes online. Haley rides Saddle Seat Equitation for Knollwood Farm, LLC in Hartland. This year she achieve the coveted Triple Crown of Saddle Seat Equitation by winning the three legs of the Triple Crown in one show season. Haley is just the 13th rider to accomplish that.     HARTLAND– Senior Lexi Woida is a 2-sports star at Arrowhead High School. In her Junior year she won State in all-around competition for high school gymnastics. Lexi also is a diver. She took third this past season at State. Lexi had an MRI on her back during her sophomore year. Doctors found she has a ruptured disc. She has been competing with that ever since.     Win and you head to Camp Randall for the Championship games. That was on the line for teams who made it to Level Four of the WIAA Football Playoffs. There were 7 games involving Milwaukee area teams. The High School Blitz Game of the Week was a Division 3 game as Catholic Memorial took on New Berlin Eisenhower at Kettle Moraine High School.
