Stephanie is an Emmy award-winning journalist and currently the anchor of FOX6 News at 4, 6 & 9 p.m.

Philly raised with Packers pride — that may be the best way to sum up my ties to the Milwaukee area. I wasn’t born in Wisconsin nor have I ever lived in the Badger State until now. But my father grew up in Whitefish Bay and ingrained the Cheesehead mentality into me and my three younger siblings since day one. My parents’ basement in Bucks County, PA is full of old school Brett Favre gear and of course Aaron Rodgers. Sorry Eagles… you never really performed anyway.

I’ve been in the TV business since before I even graduated from Penn State University spending time at WCAU-NBC10 in Philadelphia in the investigative unit and Entertainment Tonight/The Insider in New York City.

Before coming to FOX6, I was the morning anchor at News10 ABC and FOX23 in Albany, NY. I moved to the Empire State’s capital city from Huntington, WV where I worked as an anchor/reporter for WSAZ (NBC) Newschannel 3 covering breaking news in West Virginia, Ohio and Kentucky. One of my most memorable stories was reporting live on the 2010 Athens, Ohio tornado that devastated an entire community. Before working in West Virginia, I started my television career as a reporter in Erie, PA at WSEE (CBS) and after a few months became the anchor of Mornings Live with Stephanie & Ray. While in Erie, I was also the business anchor/reporter for One Caribbean Weather – a 24/7 news and weather channel based in Erie that was broadcast to 37 countries in the Caribbean and Central America. During this time, I extensively anchored and reported on the 2010 earthquake in Haiti.

A daredevil at heart, I am never afraid to try anything once. Being a competitive figure skater since the age of 7, I have a true love for sports and athletics as a whole and I love helping viewers find their own ways to happier and healthier lives.

I am so happy to be here in Milwaukee especially because my grandfather still lives in the area working as a Professor of Dentistry at Marquette University (let’s just say he’s a tad happy we moved here!). Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband Joe and our son Jack taking walks on the lakeshore with our Portuguese Water Dog, Rileigh.

I would love to hear from you so if you have a story idea or would just like to say hi, please do!

  • “I wouldn’t wish it on anybody:” Silencing the stigma that is heroin addiction

Linda Dwyer of Pleasant Prairie knows this reality far too well. “I did lose friends,” says Dwyer. “They would just shun me like ‘Gosh […]
