Aaron Rodgers receives proclamation for 12-12-12
GREEN BAY -- Earlier this year, state lawmarkers voted to make 12-12-12 Aaron Rodgers Day in the state. Wednesday, May 9th, that proclamation was given to the Packers quarterback.
Normally, a lawmaker reads and presents a proclamation to the recipient, but that's not what happened here. Instead, the proclamation was handed over to Jennifer Brilowski. She started a Facebook page to promote the idea.
"I'm not big on a lot of personal attention. I like to deflect it to the team, but I am very honored to receive this plaque this distinction and I hope we can all enjoy 12-12-12 together," Rodgers said Wednesday.
Rodgers says he's not sure what he'll do to celebrate his day. He says there might not be a whole lot of time, since the Pack will play the Bears that week.
