Fire crews battle house fire in Menomonee Falls
MENOMONEE FALLS -- Fire crews in Menomonee Falls were called to a house fire on Mary Dale Drive just south of Good Hope Road on Tuesday, January 2nd.
The fire occurred around 1:30 p.m. and it took firefighters about 45 minutes to extinguish the blaze.
FOX6's media partners at the Menomonee Falls Patch say five people inside the home were able to make it out safely.
Firefighters reported the fire broke out in the kitchen/breezeway area.
Damage is estimated at $150,000. The home is uninhabitable, and the American Red Cross is assisting residents in finding shelter.
