LOS ANGELES (WITI) -- Greenfield resident Leon Saryan was on his way home to Wisconsin Friday morning, November 1st, when a gunman started shooting at Los Angeles International Airport.
Saryan came face to face with the shooter and says the reason he's still alive may have come down to how he answered one question.
"He saw me cowering in the corner and he said 'TSA?' like it was a question. I shook my head and he kept on going," said Saryan. "He seemed calm. I don't think he was acting crazy. He was walking through there like he owned the place -- and at that moment, he did.
