Crash shuts down I-43 NB near Brown Deer Road, driver injured

A crash shut down I-43 northbound near Brown Deer Road on Thursday morning, Aug. 31. A utility truck driver was injured.

FOX POINT, Wis. - A crash shut down I-43 northbound near Brown Deer Road on Thursday morning, Aug. 31.

The sheriff's office said a utility truck collided with a flatbed semi-trailer – becoming wedged underneath it. The truck driver had minor injuries.

Traffic was diverted off the interstate at Brown Deer Road around 10:25 a.m. It reopened around 1:20 p.m.
