MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- 19-year-old Erika Walker was gunned down at a house party near 35th and Auer in early March, and now, police are linking a suspect in an unrelated robbery to Walker's death.
"She was my everything. That`s my wild card. I loved her," Michelle Walker says of her young daughter.

Erika Walker died as a result of gunshot wounds on March 7th.
"It was the worst day of my life," Michelle Walker said.
But there is a small glimmer of hope for Michelle Walker and Erika Walker's other family members. Police have now named 19-year-old Jovan Mull as a suspect in Erika Walker's death. Michelle Walker says she never heard Mull's name until the night of her daughter's death.
"Absolutely not. But I`ll never forget it," Michelle Walker said.
Erika Walker suffered gunshot wounds to her back and chest.
According to an affidavit, an eyewitness identified Mull as the shooter. Mull hasn't yet been charged -- but Michelle Walker says she believes police have the right person.
"I believe that because there were pictures sent to my phone from young people who were at the party who were afraid to talk to the police, so his picture kept coming up," Michelle Walker said.
Court documents show that Mull was arrested on March 23rd while driving a stolen car. He was charged with armed robbery, first-degree reckless injury and driving or operating a vehicle without the owner's consent.
Again -- he hasn't yet been charged in connection with Walker's death. Police have questioned him about the house party and the shooting, but he denied being involved.
"To me he has the tell-tale signs of someone very sadistic and serial killer-like qualities. It`s just a disgrace and a shame," Michelle Walker said.
Friends and family members held a vigil for Erika Walker on March 11th -- vowing to find whoever killed her. This week's news of a suspect in the case has Walker's mother hopeful for justice.
"My daughter's death was senseless," Michelle Walker said.
The Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office is expected to review this case in the coming days.
