New Berlin police investigate rash of car break-ins
NEW BERLIN -- New Berlin police are investigating a rash of car break-ins in the Greenridge subdivision. That's in the east-central part of the city.
There were more than a dozen car break-ins Wednesday night alone. The police call them break-ins -- but in reality, all of the affected vehicles were unlocked.
Cell phones and GPS devices were the targets of the thieves. But anything of value left within the vehicles was also taken.
New Berlin police are urging homeowners to lock their cars at night and remove all valuables.
