New Berlin police warn residents to be on lookout for suspicious vehicles following home burglaries

NEW BERLIN -- New Berlin police say two residential daytime burglaries took place late last week, and are sending a warning to residents it may be the beginning of a trend.

Authorities say the two burglaries were similar -- both with breaking and entering through the rear door of the homes. Cash and jewelry were targets in both of the incidents.

Police are urging residents to watch for vehicles in your neighborhood that appear out of place, possibly with out of state plates.

If you do see a vehicle that appears out of place, you are asked to call the New Berlin Police Department at (262)782-6640. Police say to try and get a plate number if possible.
