Fog forces Packers flight from Green Bay to Atlanta to depart in Milwaukee



MILWAUKEE -- FOX6 News has learned the Green Bay Packers' flight to Atlanta, Georgia was delayed due to fog Saturday evening, January 21st. The team was headed to Atlanta to take on the Falcons in the NFC Championship Game Sunday.

Sources said the team's charter flight headed inbound to Green Bay was unable to land due to fog. The plane was diverted to General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee.

The team made the trip down from Green Bay to Milwaukee via bus.



The Packers made a safe landing in Atlanta and arrived at their hotel shortly after 8:00 p.m. Central Time.
