Police: Milwaukee man arrested on warrants after barricading himself in vehicle in Glendale
GLENDALE -- A 26-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested on several felony warrants after barricading himself inside a vehicle near Good Hope Road and Port Washington Road Tuesday morning, Oct. 1.
It began around 11:15 a.m., when Glendale officers spotted the man in the area.
When officers tried making contact with him, police said he barricaded himself in the vehicle. Officers then negotiated with him for about an hour before he was arrested without incident.
He was turned over to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office for the warrants.
Traffic and pedestrians were diverted in the area temporarily as a safety precaution.
