Police: Reckless driver arrested after losing control of car, rolling over

NEW BERLIN (WITI) -- New Berlin police arrested a man they say is in his 20s who was driving recklessly early Monday, December 29th.

An officer first noticed the driver around 1 a.m. -- and attempted to stop the vehicle. But the driver sped off. A few moments later, the driver lost control and crashed near 133rd and Greenfield Ave. The car rolled over and started on fire.

The driver was taken into custody -- and taken to Froedtert Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

Officials would not say if alcohol was a factor in this wreck.
