TOWN OF BURLINGTON, Wis. - A Racine County man could spend the next 80 years in prison after investigators say he sexually assaulted a minor more than once.
After first denying the allegations to investigators and even blaming the victim as the "aggressor," court records show Seth Beining, 21, admitted to what happened.

"The state believes that the high cash bail is necessary in this case," said Jennifer Flynn, prosecutor.
Racine County deputies questioned Beining on a complaint someone told them they saw him sexually assaulting a minor. The criminal complaint says Beining initially denied the complaint, even blaming the minor as an "aggressor."
"The allegations are fairly egregious," said Flynn.
Eventually, the complaint says Beining admitted to sexually assaulting the child four times over the last few months, telling investigators he did so for "sexual gratification" and to "educate" the victim.

"There's some allegations and an argument can be made that there was some grooming going on here, so from the state's perspective, that very high cash bail is necessary in this particular case," said Flynn.
In court on Wednesday, Racine County prosecutors requested his bond be set at $500,000 cash. His public defender asked for $2,000. It was set at $50,000. GPS monitoring was ordered, and he can have no contact with the victim or any minor.
