Senator Tammy Baldwin reintroduces bill to provide boost to states falling behind in business startups

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Wisconsin Senator Tammy Baldwin has reintroduced a bill to provide a boost to states falling behind in business startups, which includes Wisconsin.

The legislation, called the "Small Business Innovation Act" was the first bill introduced by Baldwin as a senator.

It aims to increase small businesses' access to venture capital by expanding the Small Business Administration's authorization to provide up to $4 billion to investment companies.
