Sheriff: Death investigation closes ramp to Highway 145 northbound

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office was called out to the ramp to Highway 145 northbound Saturday, Jan. 4.

The call came in around 4:15 p.m.

Officials with the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office said a deputy reported a body in the grass adjacent to the freeway at Highway 145 south of 124th Street. The Milwaukee Fire Department arrived on scene, and the victim was pronounced dead.

The freeway was shut down for approximately two hours while detectives processed the scene, MCSO officials said.
