25 recruits make of Badgers class of '14
MADISON -- As always, time will tell where Wisconsin coach Gary Andersen's first full recruiting class ranks, but Andersen isn't about rankings; he's about performance.
For the record, his group was ranked as high as 19th before falling a several notches to 26th, most notably because of the departures of 4-star recruit Craig Evans, a defensive tackle, who decommitted in favor of Michigan State.
Andersen and his staff picked up speed-particularly on offense. As usual, they're strong at the offensive and defensive line positions.
D.J. Gillins, a dual-threat quarterback from Jacksonville, Florida, may be a young man to keep an eye on.
