Badgers bounced out by Michigan St. 58-43
EAST LANSING, MI -- The Wisconsin Badgers shot a season-low 29.4 and suffered an embarrassing 58-43 loss at Michigan State on Thursday night-one which dashed any hopes they had of earning a share of the Big Ten championship.
UW (20-10, 11-6) suffered its' fifth straight loss to the Spartans and dropped into fifth place; Bo Ryan's team might have to play on the first day of the conference tournament next weekend in Chicago.
Michigan State used a 16-0 run to salt the game away in the 2nd half while the guests were missing 13 straight shots.
Guard Ben Brust led the Badgers with 10 points.
