Badgers drought spells 58-53 ot loss to Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS -- Andre Holllins hit the go ahead 3-pointer midway through overtime, and the 20th ranked Badgers suffered a 58-53 loss at Minnesota, one that damages their Big Ten title hopes.

Mike Bruesewitz blunder helped send the game to overtime; he ran the baseline on an inbounds play after a Gophers turnover; that can only be done after a score.

Minnesota would tie the game and send it to the extra session.

Freshman Sam Dekker scored a team-high 14 points, but the Badgers went eleven minutes without a field goal down the stretch.
