Badgers fall to number 4 Ohio State, 31-24
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WITI)-- The Wisconsin Badgers will have to wait for their 2nd Big Ten Conference win of the season after falling 31-24 to the 4th ranked Ohio State Buckeyes on Saturday night.
Although the Badgers fell, they played a pretty clean well fought game with only one turnover.
Bucky had 3 touch downs in the loss; the first was by WR Jared Abbredaris in the 1st quarter for 36 yards. This tied the game up at 7.
In the 2nd Q Sam Arenson caught an 11 yard touch down pass from Joel Stave to make it a 3 point game (17-14 OSU).
In the 4th quarter RB James White rushed for 17 yards to make it 31-21 OSU. Kyle French added a field goal with about 2 minutes left in the game but the damage was done and Wisconsin picked up their 1st Big Ten loss and 2nd loss of the season.
Badgers QB, Joel Stave, had 295 total yards averaging 8.7 a carry with 2 touchdowns and 1 INT.
Wisconsin faces Northwestern at 2:30 CT at Camp Randall Stadium on October 12th.
