Badgers lose 3rd straight, 81-68 at Minnesota
MINNEAPOLIS, MN -- The ninth-ranked Wisconsin Badgers have now lost 3 straight conference games for the first time in 3 years, thanks to Minnesota's 81-68 win on Wednesday night in the Twin Cities.
As has been the case during the skid, Bo Ryan's guys, once 16-0 and ranked as high as 3rd in the country, couldn't keep an opponent out of the paint. They were outscored in that category, 48-24.
DeAndre Mathieu and Mo Walker each scored 18 points for Minnesota.
Sam Dekker led Wisconsin (16-3, 3-3) with 20 points, but the best 3-point shooting team in the Big Ten hit just 5 of 20 shots from beyond the arc.
