Surging Badgers blast Nebraska 77-46

MADISON -- After a 77-46 beat down of visiting Nebraska, the Wisconsin Badgers find themselves just 1 game behind top-ranked Indiana in the Big Ten standings.

While Minnesota was upsetting the Hoosiers in Minneapolis, Sam Dekker was helping to shuck the Cornhuskers.  The emerging freshman scored a team-high 19 points, 13 of them came in 14 minutes of the first half.

Coach Bo Ryan's team (20-8, 11-4 Big Ten) made 8 of 11 three-point shots in the first half while building a 21 point halftime lead.  Ryan Evans chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds; he also made 2 of 2 free throw attempts, on jump shots.
