Waukesha business celebrates Aaron Rodgers' Day with song
WISCONSIN -- Wednesday, 12-12-12 was officially declared Aaron Rodgers' Day in Wisconsin, following a proclamation by Gov. Scott Walker. A Waukesha-based business celebrated on Wednesday with song!
The Roberts Group, an advertising agency specializing in healthcare communication had a free pass to cut loose in celebration of the day dedicated to the Green Bay Packers quarterback.
Taking a little liberty with the lyrics of "The 12 Days of Christmas," employees recited "The Number 12 Days of Christmas."
Amidst the banter were Bears backers! On Aaron Rodgers' Day and Packers/Bears Week!
"To know that Aaron Rodgers' Day will only happen once in my lifetime, 12-12-12 won't happen again, so I'll sit through work for eight hours in my Bears jersey, knowing that it won't happen again," one employee said.
The company encouraged each of its employees to donate $12 to the MACC Fund -- one of Rodgers' favorite charities.
"Helping the MACC Fund through Aaron Rodgers' Day is just another way for us to give back," one employee said.
