West Bend police: Body recovered believed that of Ryan Morrison, reported missing on July 8th

 WEST BEND -- West Bend police said Monday, July 10th a body was discovered amid the search for a missing man.Police said around 12:15 p.m., the body of a deceased man was found in the area near Schoenhaar Drive and Annie Place -- where Ryan Morrison's vehicle was found.He was reported missing on Saturday, July 8th.West Bend investigators believe the body is that of Morrison.

While investigating theft of knives from Walmart, police find 100 in Cedarburg man's car

WEST BEND -- West Bend police on Sunday, June 18th arrested a man accused of stealing knives from Walmart, and police say they recovered 100 knives from his vehicle.According to police, around 2:45 p.m. on Sunday, Walmart Loss Prevention officials called police to report a suspect in the store who had cut open several packages of knives, concealing them in his clothing.The 26-year-old Cedarburg man was located in the parking lot, and when officers patted him down, they recovered 18 knives, heroin and prescription medication he didn't have a valid prescription for.Officers found an additional 100 knives in the man’s vehicle -- all of them stolen from Walmart.The man was arrested for retail theft, possession of heroin and possession of prescription medication without a valid prescription.

WEST BEND -- A 22-year-old man was arrested after a standoff in West Bend -- accused of cutting his brother with a sword, and threatening him with a gun.West Bend police said a call came in from the 24-year-old brother shortly before 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 16th.When police arrived at a home on Hans Street near Schoenhaar Drive, they found the 24-year-old man outside the home with a cut to his abdomen from the sword.

FRANKLIN/WEST BEND -- As the "creepy clown" phenomenon continues to sweep the nation (and world), at least two police departments in southeastern Wisconsin are reporting clown related incidents from over the weekend -- and issuing warnings.Franklin police say there were two incidents involving people "wearing scary clown masks in public."The first happened Friday night, October 7th at the Franklin High School football game, and involved a 15-year-old student running out onto the field during the game while wearing a "scary clown" mask.The second happened Saturday after midnight, near S. 35th Street and Ryan Road.
