Dodge County wrong-way crash on Highway 151, 2 dead
DODGE COUNTY, Wis. - A Dodge County wrong-way crash left two people dead Wednesday morning, Oct. 25. It happened shortly before 3 a.m. on Highway 151 near State Highway 49 in the Town of Chester.
According to the Dodge County Sheriff's Office, around 2:47 a.m. their dispatch center began receiving 911 calls regarding a white box truck traveling the wrong way on US Highway 151.
The initial investigation shows that the box truck was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes when it collided head-on with a northbound Kia passenger car. A Chevrolet passenger car was also traveling northbound on US Highway 151, and it struck the Kia.

There were four people in the Kia. The driver, a 25-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger, a 28-year-old woman, was also pronounced dead on scene.
The two other passengers in the Kia were taken to the hospital for their injuries.
There were three people in the Chevrolet. All three were taken to hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the box truck was identified as a 69-year-old man from Pennsylvania.

This crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team.
