News Producer

Responsibilities
You will create a newscast that delivers unique content and distinguishes FOX6 from the competition. You must maintain unwavering accuracy and demonstrate urgency in your news writing. This role includes producing both traditional linear broadcasts and non-traditional news content, with a strong emphasis on producing for streaming platforms. You will execute error-free newscasts from the booth, staying calm under pressure while communicating clearly with your team. Qualifications
You must have a college degree (preferably in Journalism) with a minimum of two years producing experience at a commercial television station. Excellent news judgment is required. You must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with the ability to pivot quickly in breaking news situations.
The world of TV news is constantly evolving, and you must be well-versed in all aspects of journalism, from writing to sourcing through social networking. Responsibilities
- Premium Sports Portfolio: Oversee and maximize local sales sponsorships and advertising opportunities surrounding FOX’s premier sports broadcasting rights. Strategically leverage high-profile, marquee matchups including local opportunities for the Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, and Milwaukee Brewers to drive premium revenue.
- Drive Revenue Results: Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to exceed revenue targets across all local, national, and digital properties for the Chicago and Milwaukee stations.

What you'll have:
