12 arrested after fights at Washington High School

MILWAUKEE -- 12 people were arrested after Milwaukee police responded to a fight at Washington High School Thursday afternoon.

Milwaukee Public Schools spokeswoman Roseann St. Aubin says outsiders came to the school to pick a fight with students, and says the fight happened just before 4:00 p.m. MPD was called to assist with several disturbances that broke out inside the building.

12 were cited for disorderly conduct, and two were cited for resisting/obstructing an officer.

There were no injuries reported.
