Former MPD officer sentenced for identity theft
MILWAUKEE -- A former Milwaukee police officer was sentenced Monday for stealing the identity of a seven-year-old Racine boy and buying a Mercedez-Benz.
In May of 2010, Lymon Taylor was able to get credit to buy a 2007 Merdeces. He used a social security number he bought online. The number belongs to a seven-year-old Racine boy.
As part of a plea deal, Taylor was sentenced to pay $1,395, or spend 28 days in jail.
